ABOUT HÄRNÖSAND

Härnösand is the gateway to the High Coast – the dramatic coastline with mountains rising steeply directly out of the sea, a sea that leaves its mark on the city. The city center and the center is located on Härnön, which one overland to reach only through one of the city’s movable bridges. Härnösand has about 25 000 inhabitants and is one of Northern Sweden’s oldest cities.

Härnösand is a small bustling town with several marinas and boating is summertime. The city with its metropolitan area has a lot to offer in attractions and there is something for everyone to do.
